The Wood Family purchased a Merlot vineyard in the eastern Livermore foothills in the mid-1990s. In 1996, Rhonda Wood started making wine. Both Rhonda and her husband Michael are passionate about the winemaking process starting in the vineyard, and they call themselves “tireless champions” of protecting the quality of Livermore Valley soils, and wines made of Livermore Valley grapes.
