Producing single-vineyard wines of “extraordinary flavor, richness, and intensity,” is the goal of the innovative Mitchell Katz Winery. Winemaker Mitchell Katz himself keeps a close eye on each vineyard and the cellar, to ensure the quality of the wines. He’s very careful to use only “the most pristine Livermore Valley grapes.” The winery is available for event rentals.
Wines: Chardonnay, Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Sirah, Zinfandel, and blends.
Tasting Room: Open daily, 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
A comfortable and interesting environment where guests enjoy the wines, along with cheese and crackers, served by a knowledgeable staff. |
