About: Owner Steven Kent Mirassou’s family introduced the Pinot Noir grape to California in the 1850s. Today he continues his family’s tradition by striving “to make California’s best, most interesting, most collectable Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.” The Livermore winery partners with great vineyards in California and Oregon to make its wines. Tasting Room: The Barrel Room is open daily 12-4:30 p.m. The Reserve Room, where wine tasting is combined with pairings of cheeses and meats, is open Thursday-Sunday, call for times and reservations.
In addition to the two tasting rooms, during the summer there are tastings every Saturday and Sunday on The Patio.
