The creation of Bent Creek Winery is a unique story of local friends and wine lovers collaborating to create their own wines. Two Livermore couples—three of them educators in the local school district, and one a physicist at nearby Lawrence Livermore Laboratory—partnered together to create the winery in 2002. They run the winery together and have enjoyed much success with their award-winning wines. In addition to regular tasting room hours, the winery offers special events.
Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Sirah, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Syrah, and Port.
Tasting Room: Open Friday–Sunday, 12-4:30 p.m., and by appointment.
Includes stunning views of the vineyards. Enjoy conversing with the winemakers, picnicking, and walking through the vineyards. Group tastings are available.
